This painting was exhibited in 2008 at the "Color Invitations" exhibition at the R Street Gallery in Washington, DC. It continues the series commenced in 1999 based on the artist's military awards. With this work, the series begins to create new imaginary military awards conceived as future ribbons and medals to be awarded in future military campaigns.

The Multinational Peacekeeping Force Ribbon for Service in Cuba is the ribbon for the Multinational Peacekeeping Force Medal for Service in Cuba, which is to be awarded to members of the US Armed Forces and the Multinational Peacekeeping Force (MNF) of Latin American and Spanish soldiers and sailors who will participate in the future military peacekeeping operations in Cuba in a post-Castro timeframe.
